Returns increased primarily because of a supplier batch defect. The operations report and two support threads point to the same affected product line.

How it works

Answers in the flow of work, grounded in authorized sources.

Bring in the conversations that matter

Invite Siftyn to selected channels, then synchronize messages, thread replies, and the file context Slack provides with those messages.

Ask with one command

Run /siftyn followed by a question. The initial status and final answer are ephemeral, so they are visible only to the person who asked.

Keep access boundaries intact

Siftyn maps Slack channel membership to search permissions and links answers back to their source so users can verify the evidence.

Installation

Connect a workspace in a few focused steps.

A Siftyn workspace owner or source administrator should complete the connection. Slack may require approval from a workspace administrator.

  1. 1

    Sign in to Siftyn

Create or open the Siftyn workspace that should own the Slack connection.

  2. 2

    Choose Connect Slack

Review the requested read-only permissions and authorize the intended workspace.

  3. 3

    Choose the channels

In Slack, run /invite @Siftyn in each public or private channel you want Siftyn to search. Siftyn does not join channels automatically.

  4. 4

    Test and synchronize

Return to Sources in Siftyn, test the connection, and start the first sync.

  5. 5

    Ask from Slack
